Winners at Kutaisi International Short Film Festival

Lado Meskhishvili Theatre hosted Award ceremony of KUTAISI INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL and winners were announced:

 

Main competition(10-30 min):

(Jury: Lana Ghoghoberidze- Jury president, Gela Babluani, Aleksej Berkovic, Giorgi Shvelidze, Anna Kalatozishvili)

 

GOLDEN DINOSAUR for BEST SHORT FILM went to  O Mà !  France, by  Vincent Launay-Franceschini.

 

Another  GOLDEN DINOSAUR for BEST DIRECTOR went to Irine Jordania, director of  12 K. Marx Street, Georgia.

For Special Cinematographic Vision awarded Havens by Elena Griggio, Italy

Jury Special award went to Fishing by Tornike Bziava, Georgia.

Film Critics Jury announced their favorite, which is Motherland by  Kristina Spassovska, Bulgaria.

Super shorts competition (1-5 min):

(Jury: Lasha Tskvitinidze, Keti Chkeidze, Mari Gulbiani)

Winner of the BEST SUPER-SHORT FILM and DINOSAUR FOOTPRINT award is Tremor by Ramesh Laxmanrao Holbole, India.

 

 

The Dedo-Weigert company by the representative and jury member of  Aleksej Berkovic awarded Cinematographer Giorgi Shvelidze for Outstanding Sense of Light and Shadow and handed Dedo-Weigert lighting equipment.

 

During Festival days included Screenplay Development Workshop and winners announced there also:

(Workshop mentors: Levan Kitia, Beso Odisharia, Gela Babluani)

 

TBC Concept split their decision and 1000 Gel prize for the winner on two participants: Iza Titberidze (We and Them), Levan Shubashvili (End of the Month)

 

Studios Soitgoes and Newdocfilms will provide editing studio and editing service to their favorite projects in post-production, which are: Other way – by Saba Kareli, Tale – by Levan Chkonia.
